Jamestown Dining Guide

Not much to get excited about in the way of lunch (no dinner) in Jamestown proper.  With that said the Settlement Cafe  is a pretty good fast food operation if you just want to grab a quick bite .

A couple of miles to the north on Jamestown Road you will find Jamestown Pie Company. This little hole in the wall is a gourmet carry-out restaurant specializing in gourmet pizza, pot pies, dessert pies as well as soups and sandwiches for lunch and dinner. The pecan pie is the best I have ever tasted.  We can not let a holiday go by with out at least one or two in the Scruggs house.

Jamestown FerryIf you have a couple of hours to kill take the Jamestown Ferry (no charge and it runs every 30 minutes) to the south side of the river and visit Rocky Bottom Grill.  They have good food and drinks at fairly reasonable prices.  The crab stuffed mushrooms are fantastic.  If the weather is nice, sit out on the deck.  It over looks Grays Creek which is a tributary of the James.
