Wythe Candy - A Colonial Williamsburg Shop Located in Merchant's Square

Wythe Candy Shop in Colonial Williamsburg- For lovers of sweet things, this is the place to be.  Situated in historic Merchant Square, The Candy Shop of Williamsburg is just steps from the Fife and Drum Inn.  The shelves are stocked with any imaginable type of sugary concoction, some of which are created on location, some imported from the states and some imported from around the globe.  It’s cool and sweet smelling atmosphere makes for a nice place to escape from the bustle of the streets, and most of the day there is someone making candy behind a glass partition; a great and tasty lesson for the kids about how their sweets are created.  The Candy Shop also has an extensive selection of rare beverages, from wines to ciders to imported and domestic soft-drinks.  Probably a good idea to wait till after a meal at one of the many Williamsburg restaurants available to you to visit the candy store as a visit will prove that there is something irresistible for most everyone, young and old.

Caramel dipped apples are one of their specialties!
